Authentication

Every /api/v1/public endpoint except /api/v1/public/status requires an X-Api-Key header; /api/v1/x402/markets/tickers takes an x402 payment instead, and the open record files under /api/open/network-record/v1/ need neither. Keys look like cck_ followed by 56 hex characters. Request one from your profile. Canton validator operators can ask for verification there: once approved, the Validator tier is free for 12 months, with no limit on the key, under the 600 requests a minute per IP every client gets.

Kept in this browser only, never sent anywhere except the API request you trigger.

Tiers and rate limits

Responses carry the remaining allowance in meta.rate_limit_remaining. Over the limit returns 429 with a Retry-After header.

Errors return { "error", "code" }. Endpoints served from a cron-warmed cache answer 503 warming_up on a cold cache rather than an empty body, so treat that as a retry, not an empty result.
