Rootsfi on Canton

About Rootsfi

Roots is a non-custodial fintech built on Canton Network and Base, enabling instant stablecoin payments, cross-chain bridges, and institutional messaging. Their product suite includes Payments+ (sub-second settlement with zero intermediaries), Bridge by Roots (bidirectional Canton ↔ Base USDC bridge with FA status, ~20 min settlement), CIMS (Chain-based Interbanking Messaging System — human-readable IDs like R-233-2993204 replacing wallet addresses, a crypto-native SWIFT/SEPA layer), Roots App (mobile wallet in closed beta with Google/Apple Wallet), and Roots Pay (NFC merchant terminal with same-day stablecoin settlement). As of April 2026 the platform has processed $10M+ in cumulative volume and is onboarding 200–500 users per week.
