Algorithm Analysis: TermPrime
TermPrime is a live, permissioned fixed-rate financing venue on Canton with a documented first trade, a working app URL, a mainnet launch date, nine onboarded institutional counterparties, and backing from YZi Labs via TermMax. The operating entity (TKMatrix Co., Limited) is named and listed among Canton mainnet validators, though no legal name, audit, or docs site is provided. Adding formal documentation, disclosed funding details, and named team members would strengthen an already credible institutional profile.

TermPrime on Canton
Permissioned fixed-rate, fixed-term financing venue where KYB-verified institutions borrow and lend at known terms, with atomic settlement on Canton and private transaction data
About TermPrime
TermPrime is a permissioned fixed-rate, fixed-term financing venue on the Canton Network, built by Term Structure Labs as the institutional version of the fixed-rate DeFi protocol TermMax. Institutions borrow and lend digital assets at fixed or floating rates over fixed terms with known, KYB-verified counterparties, under their existing legal agreements and approved credit lines, using a public order book paired with strictly private transaction information so that sensitive commercial data stays protected. Orders are matched at a fixed or floating rate and term, and settlement is atomic on Canton. TermPrime went live on June 30, 2026, with a first trade that was a 7-day fixed-rate loan between two KYB-verified counterparties, with CBTC as collateral and Canton Coin borrowed, repaid before maturity. Its counterparty network has since grown to nine institutions, and its markets may span Canton Coin, CBTC, USDCx and tokenized real-world assets. The team behind it, TKMatrix Co., Limited, a Hong Kong fintech focused on distributed ledger technology for institutional financial markets, is listed among the validators operating Canton's mainnet. TermMax is backed by YZi Labs.
