T-RIZE Group has launched the Kairos Digital Loan Notes programme, a structured private credit product that tokenizes UK litigation finance receivables on the Canton Network. The first tranche, a $50M issuance designated $KAI18-1, targets qualified institutional investors across the US and Europe.

Kairos Litigation Limited serves as the issuer, offering secured senior notes backed by a portfolio of UK litigation finance receivables. When lawsuits funded by Kairos reach successful outcomes, the cash flows from those settlements back the notes that investors hold.

The receivables are managed by Horizon Group, which T-RIZE highlights as having a zero-default history on its litigation finance portfolio.

The $50M initial tranche is just the opening act. The total programme has capacity for up to $500M in issuances.

Particula GmbH, a digital asset risk assessment firm, assigned a B+ pre-issuance risk rating to $KAI18-1 on March 20, 2026.

T-RIZE claims this is the first publicly rated tokenized UK litigation finance product made available to institutional investors through regulated channels.

Canton is a privacy-enabled, interoperable blockchain network originally developed by Digital Asset, designed for institutional finance with features like granular data permissions and atomic settlement. Canton’s architecture allows counterparties to share only the data relevant to their role in a transaction.

T-RIZE’s role in the programme covers tokenization design, governance, and lifecycle management of the digital instruments, including compliance, transfers, coupon payments, and maturity events throughout the product’s life.
