EDX Markets is an institution-only digital asset marketplace founded in 2022 by a consortium of leading Wall Street firms including Citadel Securities, Fidelity Digital Assets, Charles Schwab, Virtu Financial, Sequoia Capital and Paradigm, with later backers including Miami International Holdings, DV Trading, GTS, GSR and Hudson River Trading. EDX operates a non-custodial spot venue (EDX Markets), a clearinghouse (EDXM Global), an international perpetual futures venue (EDXM International) based in Singapore, and a crypto-as-a-service product (EDX FlowConnect). On December 16, 2025, EDX and the Canton Network announced a strategic partnership: EDX will run as a validator on Canton, list Canton Coin on its spot exchange, and support stablecoin settlement on Canton.
