The Luxembourg Stock Exchange is a well-established financial institution with a strong regulatory framework and a pioneering role in blockchain securities. Its active participation in the Canton Network and the live trading of digital securities demonstrate significant real-world impact. However, the lack of comprehensive documentation and public metrics could be improved to enhance transparency and user engagement.

The Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE), operating since 1928, is a pioneer in blockchain-based securities listing and trading. It admitted the EIB Project Venus EUR 100M digitally native bond — the first euro-denominated digital bond on a private blockchain and the first syndicated digital bond from a public institution — to its Securities Official List (SOL) in November 2022. The bond was arranged with Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, Banco Santander and Société Générale, settled with tokenised central bank money from Banque de France and Banque centrale du Luxembourg, on Goldman Sachs DAP platform built on Canton/Daml. LuxSE also operates the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX), the first platform dedicated to sustainable finance.
