Connected Projects

Franklin Templeton joined the Canton Network ecosystem on November 12, 2025, when its Benji Technology Platform went live on Canton blockchain. The integration connects Benji to Canton Global Collateral Network, a distributed system designed to bridge traditional finance and on-chain markets, giving banks, market makers, and trading firms access to Franklin Templeton tokenized investment products with institutional-grade privacy and compliance. Benji had previously been deployed on Stellar, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Aptos; Canton became its first permissioned-blockchain deployment. The Canton expansion was announced alongside ecosystem partners including Digital Asset (the Canton protocol developer) and QCP.
