Goldman Sachs sits at the structural center of Canton Network as both founding institutional sponsor and the operator of one of the network most consequential production applications. GS DAP, the Goldman Sachs Digital Asset Platform, was conceived in 2021 and went live in January 2023 built on Daml smart contracts and Canton privacy-enabled infrastructure provided by Digital Asset Holdings. The platform first major issuance was Project Venus in 2022, a EUR 100 million two-year fully digitally native bond from the European Investment Bank that achieved same-day settlement. In July 2025 Goldman Sachs and BNY Mellon launched a tokenized money market fund solution using GS DAP.
