BNY's Canton involvement runs through two reinforcing tracks. Operationally, BNY partnered with Goldman Sachs on a first-of-its-kind U.S. tokenized money market fund product (announced 23 July 2025), where fund managers including BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, Federated Hermes, Dreyfus and Goldman Sachs Asset Management enable MMF share subscription via BNY's LiquidityDirect, with corresponding ownership represented on Goldman's GS DAP platform built on Daml/Canton technology. Strategically, BNY co-led a $135M+ funding round in Digital Asset in December 2025 (alongside DRW, Tradeweb, Nasdaq, Citadel Securities, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs and others). BNY also launched its own tokenized deposit representation product in January 2026 on its Digital Assets platform.
